COOLOUS HUD uses GPS to determine the true speed of the vehicle. There are several reasons why there may be a difference between the speed displayed on the car’s speedometer and the HUD. These include:

• Calibration set by vehicle manufacturers to read high to ensure their speedometers never indicate a lower speed than the actual speed of the vehicle.

• Speedometer inaccuracy due to aftermarket modifications such as different tire and wheel sizes or different differential gearing.

How to Use

Just connect the device to the USB cable,plug it to the car USB port. If no USB port on the car, then buy a car adaptor for it, or plug it to a power bank.Suitable for any vehicle, power the device with power bank

Set the Speedometer Unit (KM or Mile)

Long press the Enter button, if you see number 100 shown on the screen, which means KM/hLong press the Enter button, if you see number 161 shown on the screen, which means MPHThe default speed meter unit is set as KM/h

Set the Over-Speed Alarm Rate

Press the Up Button or Down Button to increase or decrease the speed rateThe default alarm speed rate is 120KM/hA three times “Beep” sound alarm will be triggered when over speed occurs.No more alarm will be triggered when over-speed is detected continuously.

Adjustable Speed Slightly

The display speed could be adjusted by hand. Press and hold the up button and Enter button at the same time. It will show the numbers from 650 to 669.
Default speed rate is 665, if you want to increase the display speed with 1KM/H, adjust rate to 666; And if you want to decrease it with 1KM/H, adjust rate to 664

Fatigue Driving Alarm

In every hour, system will trigger a fatigue driving alarm with continuous driving time displayed, in order to remind driver to avoid drowsy-driving.
Example:
001 means one-hour continuous driving,
002 means two-hour continuous driving and so on.

Friendly Tips

Keep your eyes on the road：

At 65 mph, looking down for one second to check the speedometer means driving blind for 95 feet. Many accidents start during the time a driver glances down and fails to see sudden traffic changes ahead. Drive safely by never looking down to check speed.
